NFPL Player of the Week - Jorge Guinovart

NFPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: MATCHWEEK 6

Congratulations to Ginga FS pivo Jorge Guinovart on winning his first Player of the Week award! In a double-header weekend, Jorge got off to a hot start, scoring three first half goals in Matchweek 6 against Joy. Down a goal with just minutes remaining, a free kick from Jorge tied the score before Joy Athletic scored a late winner.

The very next night, Jorge scored three crucial, unanswered goals to bring Ginga FS back in the game against Cadence SFC when they were down 6-3 at the time. Assists to his teammates in that game would earn Ginga the victory and Jorge his first NFPL Player of the Week award.

Jorge and Ginga FS will be back in action for Matchweek 7 as they hit the road to play against Futsal Factory Academy in an important match between the 3rd- and 4th-placed teams in the NFPL standings.
