NFPL 2025 Season: Schedule Release, Key Games, and Teams to Watch 

The excitement is building as the National Futsal Premier League (NFPL) gears up for another thrilling season. With powerhouse teams, exciting newcomers, and rivalries reignited, the 2025 schedule promises non-stop action. Here’s what you need to know:

Teams to Watch

This season boasts a dynamic mix of seasoned teams and fresh faces. Here are a few to keep an eye on:

  • Colorado Futsal Academy: The reigning Southwest champions and championship runners-up are hungry for redemption this year. Expect tactical brilliance and a fierce title chase.
  • Santa Fe Gloom: In their sophomore season, the Gloom have shown they’re no pushovers. Can they build on their promising start and make a deeper playoff run?
  • BRUSA FC: The Southwest Division champions of 2023 are back with their sights set on pushing onto the postseason, with the NFPL Championship game taking place on their home court.
  • Inter Detroit: New to the league but ready to shake things up with a global style and Detroit grit.

Key Games to Circle on the Calendar

Here are some must-watch matchups you won’t want to miss:

Opening Weekend: December 14, 2024

Santa Fe Gloom vs. New Mexico Flagship FC: The Southwest’s most intriguing rivalry adds another chapter as they open up the 2024/25 season and set the tone for both teams. 

Matchweek 4

Newcomers Inter Detroit host the longest-standing league members Futsal Factory Academy in a Michigan rivalry ready to explode. The game is Saturday, January 11th, at 7 PM EST. 

Matchweek 7

Almost midway through the season we have back-to-back matchups in both divisions. Will the spoils be shared or split? 

  • 2/1/25 - 7:00 PM - Colorado Futsal Academy at home vs. Santa Fe Gloom
  • 2/1/25 - 7:00 PM - Cadence SFC at home vs. Inter Detroit
  • 2/2/25 - 12:00 PM - Cadence SFC at home vs. Inter Detroit
  • 2/2/25 - 12:00 PM - Colorado Futsal Academy at home vs. Santa Fe Gloom

Semifinals: April 12th, 2025

The first place team will host the second place team in each division for a berth in the NFPL Championship Game.

NFPL Championship Game: April 26th, 2025

The 2025 NFPL Championship Game will be hosted by BRUSA FC in Mesa, AZ, where the winners of the semifinal matchups will compete for the trophy!
