NFPL PLAYOFFS: CONFERENCE SEMIFINALS PREVIEW

The regular season is in the rearview. The pressure is higher. The margins are thinner.

This Saturday, April 12, the NFPL Playoffs kick off with two massive Conference Semifinal matchups, as the top teams from the Midwest and Southwest Divisions battle for a spot in the NFPL Championship.

MIDWEST CONFERENCE SEMIFINAL

Futsal Factory Academy (6-0) vs. Cadence SFC (2-4)

The undefeated Midwest leaders, Futsal Factory Academy, will look to continue their perfect season on home court. Their fluid movement, defensive discipline, and depth have made them the team to beat all season long—and with stars like Thomas Dono, Gui Ramos, and Andrew Schwartz, they’ll be looking to punch their ticket to the NFPL Championship in dominant fashion.

Cadence SFC, however, is no stranger to adversity. After a shaky end to the regular season, they come into the playoffs with a chance to reset and prove they belong. If they can match the intensity early and take advantage of transition moments, they have the firepower to make things uncomfortable for the hosts.

SOUTHWEST CONFERENCE SEMIFINAL

BRUSA FC (7-1) vs. Colorado Futsal Academy (5-3)

The stage is set for a blockbuster in Chandler. After splitting their regular season series, BRUSA FC and Colorado Futsal Academy meet once again—this time, with a trip to the NFPL Championship on the line.

BRUSA enters red-hot, winners of five straight, and boasting one of the league’s deepest, most dangerous rosters. With Micah Vasey, Matheus Lima, and Jonathan Leiva leading the way, they’ll aim to strike early and ride the home crowd to victory.

But Colorado has been here before. Known for their explosive scoring runs and high-pressure defense, they’ll come into this rematch with something to prove. If Beckan Ovalles and Jesus Guillen get going, Colorado has everything it takes to spoil the party and earn the right to host the final.

Winners of each Conference Semifinal will advance to the NFPL Championship on Saturday, April 26 at 7:00 PM MST. The Southwest champion will host the NFPL Championship.
